Apart from electing the new CEEGOG leadership and new members of the Scientific committee, the meeting brought information on the progress of the running ENGOT and CEEGOG studies, and of the studies under preparation, and also about the newly planned ENGOT studies.
A very interesting highlight of the meeting was the part dedicated to country presentations summarizing the status of gynecology oncology care organization, access to innovative treatment, and the readiness for and barriers to conducting academic studies. We would like to express our thanks to Mirela Kekic (Croatia), David Cibula (Czech Republic), Dina Kurdiani (Georgia), Zoltán Novák (Hungary), Igor Aluloski (North Macedonia), Olga Matylevich (Republic of Belarus), Irina Tripac (Republic of Moldova), Mihai Capilna (Romania), Mikuláš Redecha (Slovakia), Andrej Cokan ( Slovenia) and Vladyslav Sukhin (Ukraine) who prepared and delivered the presentations on the situations in their countries.
Four new study proposals were introduced and are expected to be initiated in the CEEGOG countries this year.
Next meeting will be scheduled for MAY or JUNE 2025 according to the preferences of the individual CEEGOG members. Thank you all for attending the meeting and the garden reception, and for your continued support to CEEGOG.
